Ingredients:
  • 1 tbsp canola oil
  • 12 oz turkey breast, skinless, boneless, cut into 4 cutlets
  • 1/4 tsp salt, sea
  • 1/2 tsp pepper, black freshly ground
  • 4 shallots, thinly sliced (~1/2 cup)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (~2 tsp)
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tsp lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp orange zest
  • 2 tbsp orange juice, fresh
Instructions:
  1. Cooking
    1. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat.
    2. Season the turkey with half of the salt and pepper.
    3. Add the turkey cutlets and saute until cooked through, about 3 minutes per side.
    4. Remove to a plate and cover top keep warm.
    5. Add the shallots and garlic to the pan and saute, stirring for 2 minutes.
    6. Add the honey, lemon and orange zests, lemon and orange juices to the pan.
    7. Add remaining salt and pepper, bring to a boil and simmer for 2 minutes.
    8. Serve the turkey cutlets with the sauce poured over top.
