Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 tbsp peanut oil
  • 2 tsp ginger, fresh, peeled, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (~2 tsp)
  • 4 onion, green / scallion, finely chopped (~2/3 cup)
  • 32 shrimp, frozen uncooked, thawed, shelled and deveined (~6 3/4 oz)
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste, without salt added
  • 2 tsp chili garlic sauce
  • 2 tsp vinegar, rice
  • 1 1/2 tsp soy sauce, low sodium
  • 1/2 tsp pepper, black freshly ground, 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tsp sugar, white granulated
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 4 sprigs cilantro, fresh, picked
Instructions:
  1. Cooking
    1. Heat the peanut oil in a wok over high heat until smoking.
    2. Add the ginger, garlic, and green onions and stir fry for 20 seconds.
    3. Add the shrimp and stir fry for about 1 minutes.
    4. Add the remaining ingredients except the cilantro and continue to stir fry for another 3 minutes over a high heat.
    5. Garnish with cilantro and serve at once.
