Rhubarb and Berry Compote

Ingredients:
4 cups rhubarb, fresh
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup sugar, white granulated
1/3 cup jam, strawberry
2 tbsp orange liqueur
1/2 tsp ginger powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon, ground
1 cup strawberries, fresh
1 cup blackberries
Instructions:
Cooking
Place the rhubarb in a large saucepan.
Stir in water, sugar, jam, liqueur, ginger and cinnamon.
Stir often over medium heat until sugar dissolves and jam is melted, 2 to 3 minutes.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low.
Cover and simmer until softened, about 8 minutes. Stir often.
Once rhubarb has simmered, stir in strawberries and blackberries.
Increase heat to medium. Cover and simmer until berries have softened a little, about 3 minutes.
Remove from heat and set aside, uncovered. Compote thickens as it cools.
