Ingredients:
  • 1 lb beef, tenderloin, cut into 4 steaks
  • 1 tbsp peppercorns, black
  • 1 tbsp peppercorns, pink
  • 1/4 tsp salt, sea
  • 1 1/2 tsp canola oil
  • 1 tbsp chopped chives, fresh
Instructions:
  1. Prep
    1. Mix the peppercorns together and crush them.
    2. Coat the beef tenderloins with peppercorns and season with salt.
  2. Cooking
    1. Heat the oil in a pan over high heat until almost smoking.
    2. Reduce the heat to medium.
    3. Sear the beef for about 4 minutes on each side for medium rare, depending on the thickness.
    4. Serve topped with chopped chives.
