Pancetta, Lettuce and Tomato Sandwiches

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups basil, fresh
2 tbsp mayonnaise, reduced-calorie, cholesterol-free
4 slice pancetta
8 slice bread, whole wheat sliced
2 tomatoes, hot house, cut into 1/4" thick slices
1 avocado, pitted, peeled, sliced
1/2 onion, red, thinly sliced
8 leaf inner lettuce, Boston
Instructions:
Prep
Mix together the basil and mayonnaise.
Cooking
Cook the pancetta in a pan over medium heat, until crispy, about 3 minutes per side.
Transfer to a towel and pat dry.
Toast the bread until golden brown.
Spread the mayonnaise over the toasted bread.
Top half of the slices with the pancetta, tomatoes, avocado, onion and lettuce.
Top with remaining bread, slice diagonally and serve.
