Ingredients:
  • 2 cups broccoli, florets
  • 2 cups cauliflower, florets
  • 6 oz cream of mushroom soup, condensed, low sodium (~2/3 cup)
  • 6 oz water (~3/4 cup)
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg
  • 2 tbsp cheese, Parmesan, low sodium
  • 1/4 tsp pepper, black freshly ground
Instructions:
  1. Cooking
    1. Mix together the broccoli, cauliflower, mushroom soup, water and nutmeg in a pan.
    2. Bring to a boil over medium high heat.
    3. Reduce the heat and simmer, covered, for 5 minutes until broccoli and cauliflower are tender.
    4. Remove from the heat and sprinkle with Parmesan and pepper.
    5. Let stand 2 minutes, covered before serving.
